Who I am

I am a certified YOGA* Instructor, and I currently live between the small village of Crespina, located in the idyllic country-side of Pisa, and the town of Figueres in Catalonia, which is also the birthplace of Salvador Dali. From a professional point of view, I am currently holding an annual programme at the Eudora Centre for Wellbeing in Cenaia (Italy) and at the Centre Harmonia Psicofisic, Figueres (Spain), as well as a number of bespoke courses in Italian, English and Spanish for all different levels of expertise, for both adults and children, yoga for senior and yoga for mothers to be. I am also holding a number of courses for schools with children aged 6-11 and 11-14, with whom I mainly focus on yoga, fundamentals of Qi-gong** and meditation, in both individual and group sessions.

My practical training is based on the principles of Hatha Yoga, inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananda, whilst my theorical study is particularly influenced by Master Adi Shankara Acharya’s “Advaita Vedanta” and the teachings of the Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh.

In addition, I am holding Tuina*** sessions, a Chinese form of massage. In recent years, I have organised a number of residential RETREATS for study practice, meditation and conscious living, in various parts of Italy, from Sardinia to Camaldoli on the Apennines, and in Spain. I also hold frequent lectures and seminars on the theoretical and philosophical principles of yoga, mediation and breathing techniques. I like to spend my spare time with a close group of friends, sharing insightful experiences such as TREKKING and hiking trips to further raise our walking meditation. From a very early age, I have also been passionate about gardening and sustainable eco-architecture made entirely of wood.

* I am qualified International Yoga Federation (IFF) and Yoga Alliance (TTC and ATTC), graduated from the International Samvit Sagar School for Self-knowledge in Tiruvanamalai in India, where I have subsequently also held the position of Deputy-instructor for new yoga teachers. I have completed a two-year Master in Yoga Educational with the Italian Yoga Federation (FIY), and I have specialised in yoga for children. I am affiliated to the Italian UISP and Associazione Culturale Amanita, and I am currently further pursuing my professional development at the Druma Yoga Centre in Florence.
** I am currently further pursuing my professional development at the Centre WUDANG de Cultura Tradicional Xinesa di Figueres (Spain).
** I have completed a three year programme as Tuina practitioner with Traditional Acupuncture School in the City of Florence.
